For prevention, the mixture is 1-1/2 oz of the medication per 1 pint of water, given at a rate of 1 oz per 100 lbs of body weight daily for 21 days.

If administered through the drinking water, the treatment protocol involves mixing 16 oz of the medication per 100 gallons of water and offering it as the sole source of water for 5 days.
